Behind the Music

Lavender Sunday is project started by Braden Nicols in his home recording studio. Experimentation with recording techniques and sounds, along with introspective songwriting has given him an original, unique style. Blending the psychedelic rock of the 1960s with modern indie pop/rock. Braden's light, soaring voice brings you back to the 60s and has been referred to as very Beatlesque. Sonically, the songs are much more modern; containing instruments including drum machines, synthesizers, electric/acoustic guitars, bass guitars, and drums/percussion.
